Tenafly 2 Room Overhaul 2017
Homeowner’s contractor installed a lower quality hardwood product that began to crack, almost immediately following its installation. Naturally, the customer was determined to ‘”fix” the problem, ending up replacing the Living and Dining room floors entirely. Floor Town’s skilled craftsmen did not need to ‘rip out’ the initial flooring, as the homeowner’s contractor was instructed to do so prior to their arrival. Customer chose one of Floor Town’s upgraded hardwood products to replace the Dining room and LIving room floors. – a Canadian solid hardwood product. Along with the flooring installation itself, Floor Town’s installers also custom-made the moldings, trim pieces, and appropriate reducers. The flooring at the base of the stairs also needed replacing. (See attached photos) Cutting the planks so they would fit snugly around the contours of the base and molding was a tricky task…one requiring the hand of a skilled craftsman.Photos from the Tenafly Room Overhaul Project
